The BOM Foreign Investments team organized the program in close cooperation with the Netherlands Foreign Investments Agency (NFIA) in Taiwan.
Taiwan is an important foreign investors in the Netherlands and in Brabant. Around 200 Taiwanese companies have a presence in the Netherlands of which more than 30% are located in Brabant, especially in the Brainport region. The Netherlands and Brabant offer an attractive investment climate for Taiwanese companies because of the geographic location, proximity to key markets like Germany and France, business climate (customs and tax), available talent, multilingual labour force, quality of life and the presence of a strong ICT and High Tech Systems cluster in the south of the Netherlands.
