The expanded laboratory was officially opened by the Chair of VNO-NCW, Ingrid Thijssen, during a site visit to Boxmeer.
Ian Tarpey, Global lead R&D Biologicals: “At MSD Animal Health, we focus on innovation. With the expansion of the virology laboratory, we increase our capacity for vaccine development. This allows us to improve the health of more animals, thereby helping more customers and pet owners.”
The research laboratories in the renovated building have been upgraded, and the number of spaces has been significantly increased. A completely new floor has been added to the building. Additionally, the Center of Diagnostic Services will be housed in the renovated building. This department supports marketing and R&D with diagnostics and projects. During the renovation, consideration was given to the routing to enable more efficient work, and investment was made in better climate control.
