Global electronics leader Molex sets up at HTCE

Eindhoven, February 1, 2023 - Molex, a global electronics leader and connectivity innovator, a prominent player in the electronic components industry, has selected High Tech Campus Eindhoven (HTCE) as the new location for its Eindhoven office. Relocating from its previous location at Eindhoven airport, Molex is set to occupy the entire first floor of the upcoming Lucis One. Scheduled for completion in fall 2024, Lucis One is the first of 7 new buildings.

Dynamic ecosystem

Bart van Ettinger, Vice President at Molex, emphasized the importance of a collaborative and dynamic workplace, stating, “We believe in the power of a collaborative and dynamic workplace. In November 2022, the Brabant Development Agency (BOM) organized an innovation tour for Molex on the High Tech Campus to showcase the high-tech environment of the region. Maarten Brouwer, Team Leader of Foreign Investments at BOM, remarked, “We visited Solliance, Holst Center, and the 5G hub. It is great to see that this visit contributed to Molex’s decision to stay in the Brabant region and move to HTCE, a location that can be used for Molex’s future growth and serve as a stepping stone to the rest of Europe.”

Elsbeth Smit, senior director Real Estate at High Tech Campus Eindhoven, expressed excitement about Molex joining the Campus community. “We warmly welcome Molex into our campus ecosystem. We see their selection of HTCE as a confirmation of our shared goals for innovation and collaboration. We are curious to see how Molex transforms the first floor to their own look and feel.
