Finnish company Etteplan buys system integrator company Tegema
Finnish technical automation company Etteplan takes over Tegema. Tegema is a multidisciplinary system integrator located in Eindhoven, specialized in tailor-made precision mechanics and mechatronics. The acquisition is a new step in Etteplan's international growth plus the start of an engineering services branch in the Netherlands.
Founded in 1976, Tegema provides manufacturing solutions, production cells and equipment to customers in semiconductors, electronics, mobility, photonics and medical applications. The company combines this knowledge with the latest technology in robotics, software and assembly technology. It employs a hundred people, spread over offices in Eindhoven and Arnhem. The turnover is around eleven million euros.
Etteplan is already active in the Netherlands in the field of technical documentation. In 2012, the company acquired Tedopres for this purpose and Triview Technical Communication in 2019. With Tegema on board, Etteplan wants to better respond to the demand driven by Industry 4.0 for tailor-made and more intelligent production solutions.
Etteplan provides solutions for industrial environments and technical documentation. In 2019 it achieved a turnover of 263 million euros. The aim is to generate more than half of the income outside Finland by 2024. The company has more than 3,400 employees in Finland (headquartered in Espoo), Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and China. Etteplan is listed on the Finnish stock exchange.
