On September 13, 2018, BOM Foreign Investments welcomed more than 150 foreign companies that are based in Brabant during the Brabant Investors’ Day.
On September 13, 2018, BOM Foreign Investments welcomed more than 150 foreign companies that are based in Brabant during the Brabant Investors’ Day. This event took place in the magnificent Philips Stadium in Eindhoven.
The attendees did not only have the opportunity to attend a tour of this magnificent Stadium, but also witnessed great presentations about Data Science from the grandstand. Among the speakers were Arjan van den Born from JADS ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Thijs Slegers and André Ooijer from PSV, Stijn Steenbakkers, Alderman of the municipality of Eindhoven and Bert Pauli, Vice Governor of the Province of North Brabant.
Provided with relevant and applicable information, the attendees joined the networking event. Experiences and information was shared and new connections were made while enjoying some food and drinks. Additionally, there was the opportunity to visit the locker rooms of our Brabant Champions and to take a picture with the Championship Trophy of 2018. By means of this event, the foreign business community and public partners could tighten up their relationships. They showed us that the foreign community in Brabant is essential for the economy and business climate.
In Brabant, high-tech and high-touch go hand-in-hand. I'm extremely happy and proud that so many foreign companies have been attracted by this culture over the years. After all, they contribute to the success of our economy. This province has more than 1,500 foreign companies with 100,000 employees.
