The expansion concerns a multi-customer warehouse with an area of approximately 24,000 m², supplemented with 3,550 m² of mezzanine space and approximately 1,200 m² and 24 docks. The DC was recently completed.

Yusen will start using the DC, called Yusen Moerdijk II, in full at the end of 2020. The logistics complex is located on the Moerdijk Business Park in logistics hotspot West Brabant.

In this warehouse, Yusen Logistics will accommodate the storage and logistics activities for various clients from various market sectors. Yusen will also develop e-commerce activities at the new location in Moerdijk.

In addition, Yusen is currently building a new distribution center in Melsele near Antwerp. The logistics service provider opts for a Hybrid AGV system.
